I love Autumn, I have never been able to stop the new pencils and folders optimism that was inbred after so many September school starts. I think it was further fed by university and loving everyone coming back after summer adventure – or in my case summer working in local pubs and an Edinburgh festival.

Fencing posts make an interesting display. I am quite fascinated by fences, walls, boundaries. The liminal- limits and lines. I walked on so many surfaces today passing from concrete, hardcore, mud, long grass.
